This is so cool. I've been wanting to raise all my life. Since my first junk car, i would race around the farm .. Now im looking to do something new, and this lawnmower raising, i think, is it.. .looking forward to seeing some races, but not having much luck in finding the raise tracks. Any ideas, i live in Punta Gorda Florida.. Thanks

Hey man, first off I’ve watch your racing mower build video’s many times, very informative! I’d greatly appreciate if you could answer some questions as I’m very new to the racing mower thing! My son and I are building two racing machines, mine has the Briggs Intek 725cc v-twin like your I believe. What wires on the engine are essential for it to run??? Any photo’s would help. The engine was pulled from a husqvarna mower, and I know some wires aren’t needed! And second, I did remove the governor and I’m a lil stumped on how to hook the throttle up now??? I will be running the throttle off a brake lever like yours. Again any photo’s how you did yours would greatly help? Thanks again Shayne

Dam I wish I seen you video earlier I just ground the crank and lightened the piston and added counter weights to original weights :/ lol those brass slip ons are a lot more safer with revs by the looks

Little late to the show here, i dont run mower circuits as we dont have any here, more so just a group of guys that go out and play, i was told to run tubes but i do not. Also if you put a healthy few shakes of baby powder in the tire and roll it around coat the tube its suppose to prevent it from binding or pinching. Learned that doing dirt bike tires

That piece of aluminum is a rain gutter nail with the head cut off.

For the peerless transmission the input shaft has splines. I tried searching for a 12 tooth sprocket with splines but none that I could find that would support a #40 chain. Where did you get yours from? ty

Where do you get that intake manifold?

I thought about makeing a full one out of aluminum and TIG welding for my Kart. But the time and cost just didn't make sense when i just bought the plastic cover for 35USD.

why intek 23 versus vanguard 23 ?

the spindle broke because its moly. unless you tig weld it they become brittle and crack. we use a regular grade 8 bolt on our outlaw mini mod cars that are 900# and use a 600 crotch rocket engine

Any of your used parts for sale ?

There are no oil seals because the trans is made to use grease, not oil.The seal that was there was installed to keep water and dirt out.

Cool stuff. Always love to see custom mower parts. I dabble a bit also, mostly with the big tire/ off-road/ mud stuff though.

Gotta love lawnmower races. A few years ago my son in law and my self built him one. We had a blast building it and i enjoyed watching him race it.

What happened to the chubby white guy? I told him my lawnmower was faster than his lawnmower and I think he cowered away😂
